What is a Driving Licence?
A Driving Licence is an official document issued by the government that certifies an individual is qualified to operate a motor vehicle on public roads. It acts as both a legal authorization to drive and an identification document.
Driving licences are issued by regional transport authorities (RTAs) or regional transport offices (RTOs) and typically indicate the type of vehicle the holder is permitted to drive, such as a car, motorcycle, or commercial vehicle.
Obtaining a driving licence usually involves passing a driving test, meeting age requirements, and providing necessary identification and documentation.
